My role

Development of technical exam criteria and  the development of local teacher trainers for the Afghan Deputy Minister of TVET

In Afghanistan, I carried out a short-term assignment focused on strengthening quality assurance and capacity development within the TVET sector. During this assignment, I designed and facilitated a workshop on the development of technical examination criteria tailored to the Afghan education context, ensuring relevance, consistency, and alignment with sector needs.

In addition, I developed selection criteria for local teacher trainers and counselors on behalf of the Deputy Minister of TVET. These criteria were designed to identify qualified professionals who could effectively take on a multiplier role as future trainers of trainers. This contributed to building a sustainable, locally embedded capacity development system within the sector.
