Lead Company
United Nations, Department of Peace Keeping Operations
In this project in Kenya, I served as Training Manager with a strong project management role as part of the core management team. I was responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
Working closely with project partners, I led stakeholder coordination efforts to establish a holistic training approach that covered the full spectrum of roles required in engineering operations, including plant operators, mechanics, and engineering project managers. This involved aligning expectations, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring integrated program design across all components.
I was solely responsible for the complete curriculum, including all its components, as well as ensuring its alignment with the UN ISCED framework. This encompassed the development and continuous improvement of training curricula, the design of new training modules, and the documentation and standardization of the implemented training program.
In addition, I managed operational aspects such as the recruitment and supervision of locally hired interpreters, ensuring effective communication across all project activities. My role also included moderating stakeholder workshops, supporting knowledge exchange, and acting as a liaison for VIPs and key stakeholders. Throughout the project, I maintained a strong focus on coordination, quality assurance, and the sustainable implementation of training systems.
